Victoria Lizette

​Victoria Lizette has been writing since she was six years old. By age eleven she had published two short stories and a poem in her local paper. As a teen, she wrote fanfiction online, and even amassed a small following of readers. Still, as an adult, she never believed that writing was a viable career path, and instead decided to pursue Business Administration and Hospitality in college. It was during this time, however, that her love of creative writing sparked back up and she began doing freelance blog writing. She also began writing a historical fiction novel (still in the works!) Eventually she dropped out and began living a double life as a leasing agent by day and an adult entertainer by night. All the while, she continued writing. She infused experiences of both career fields in her work and became a name on Tumblr in the fanfiction world again. Now she's hoping to bring a unique perspective to the literary world as a queer black woman who’s walked the line of corporate professional and adult entertainer. Victoria’s goal with her work is to show Black women that they should never feel ashamed of whatever life path they’ve decided to walk. Life is best lived for one’s self.
